I can't believe it's been almost a year since our first Tucker Juneteenth Jubilee.
On Saturday, June 18, 2022. If you weren't there, you missed the Unity March down Main Street Tucker all the way around the corner to the new Church Street Park located at 4316 Tucker, Georgia where we had a host of wonderful vendors and a kids entertainment area.
From the live stage at the Church Street Park you also missed guest speakers including Tucker Mayor Frank Auman, DeKalb County CEO Michael L. Thurmond, DeKalb County Commissioner Steve Bradshaw, DeKalb County Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson, DeKalb County Commissioner Robert Patrick, and DeKalb County NAACP President Lance Hammonds. Dance recitations from Dance Studio 33 School of the Arts, entertainment from Kim Eugene Armstrong and his A Popular Dance routines, performance by Cellist Chamaur Mitchell, live music from The Men of Simply Awesome Band, Upgrade Atlanta Band, and Atlanta Platinum Band.
Check out the Gallery page for additional pictures and videos. Also check out coverage from The Tucker Observer here: https://tuckerobserver.com/2022/06/20/photos-juneteenth-celebration-held-in-tucker/
If you missed it, the good news is we're planning to do it all over again this year on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10 am to 4 pm. We are seeking Supporting Advertiser & Sponsors, Vendors, Speakers, Entertainers & Volunteers. Please email info@cfatucker.org with any questions and we will respond as promptly as possible!
